Journal Article 2025 10 24 The present study examines a significant gap in revolutionary theory, particularly in the area of revolutionary typologies and the distinctive features of the political culture resulting from the Islamic Revolution of Iran, placing it within a broader spectrum of revolutionary movements of the twentieth century. The aim was to explain the unique characteristics of the political culture of the Islamic Revolution in comparison to other revolutionary waves, using a typological approach. In terms of methodology, this research used a descriptive-analytical framework. Data collection was carried out through comprehensive documentary analysis and library research, which ensured a thorough review of primary and secondary sources. The findings showed that, while the Islamic Revolution of Iran has certain commonalities with other revolutionary movements of the twentieth century, it exhibits distinctive features that distinguish it as a unique revolutionary process.<br><br>Specifically, this study shows that the Iranian Revolution created a political culture that was firmly rooted in Islamic ideology, with religious leadership playing a central role in government structures. This cultural paradigm established a new model of libertarianism based on the principles of justice, independence, and critique of Western secularism. Furthermore, the Islamic Revolution represents a distinct revolutionary wave in the spectrum of twentieth-century movements, whose impact transcends national borders and significantly influences global developments and Islamic movements at the regional and international levels. پژوهش حاضر به بررسی شکاف قابل‌توجه در نظریه انقلابی، به‌ویژه در حوزه گونه‌شناسی‌های انقلابی و ویژگی‌های متمایز فرهنگ سیاسی ناشی از انقلاب اسلامی ایران پرداخته و آن را در طیف گسترده‌تری از جنبش‌های انقلابی قرن بیستم قرار داد. هدف، با استفاده از رویکرد گونه‌شناختی، تبیین ویژگی‌های منحصربه‌فرد فرهنگ سیاسی انقلاب اسلامی در مقایسه با سایر امواج انقلابی بود. از نظر روش‌شناسی، این پژوهش از چارچوب توصیفی- تحلیلی بهره ‌برد. جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از طریق تحلیل اسنادی جامع و تحقیقات کتابخانه‌ای انجام شد که از بررسی کامل منابع اولیه و ثانویه اطمینان حاصل کرد. یافته‌ها نشان داد، درحالی‌که انقلاب اسلامی ایران اشتراکات خاصی با سایر جنبش‌های انقلابی قرن بیستم دارد، ویژگی‌های متمایزی را نشانمی‌دهد که آن را به‌عنوان یک فرآیند انقلابی منحصربه‌فرد متمایز می‌کند. به‌طورخاص، این مطالعه نشانمی‌دهد که انقلاب ایران یک فرهنگ سیاسی را به وجود آورد که ریشه محکمی در ایدئولوژی اسلامی داشت و رهبری مذهبی نقشی محوری در ساختارهای حکومتی ایفا می‌کرد. این پارادایم فرهنگی مدل جدیدی از آزادی‌خواهی مبتنی بر اصول عدالت، استقلال و نقد سکولاریسم غربی را پایه‌گذاری کرد. علاوه‌براین، انقلاب اسلامی نشان‌دهنده یک موج انقلابی متمایز در طیف جنبش‌های قرن بیستم است که تأثیر آن فراتر از مرزهای ملی است و به‌طور قابل‌توجهی بر تحولات جهانی و جنبش‌های اسلامی در سطح منطقه و بین‌المللی تأثیر می‌گذارد.
